Dry Eyes
Peggy from Kansas
A few months out of surgery, I had dry eyes so bad I couldn't keep my eyes open, literally had to wear sunglasses or couldn't leave my house, kept curtains closed.
After many trips to optometrist ophthalmologist, and even a cornea specialist who said I was one of the worst cases he had seen in his 14 years experience.
After eye ducts plugged, many many vials of singles of hydrating eye drops & eye ointments. (who knows how much I spent) and prescription eye drops. Fish oil and flax oil supplements, I tried anything and everything.
I still felt helpless.
One day, I was at my parents home, mom was cooking livers and gizzards. I tried some and within minutes my eyes started to feel better. Which intrigued me, so I starting looking into it. I finally put together that organ meat is high in Vitamin A, so I tried your Vitamin A. At first I took two per day. Now I take one per day.
I feel so much better. If I ever feel like my eyes are starting to hurt again, I up back to two pills.
This year when I went for my yearly eye appointment, the eye doctor asked me if I was using eye drops, yes I was but my eyes looked dryer than previous year. I said, that the company that makes my Vitamin A is sold out and I haven't taken it in a while. It just confirmed what I already knew.
