Purchased these supplements touse during a gut health reset that eliminates certain foods. After taking a couple pills I noticed the bottle has a small disclaimer that they contain dairy, wheat, and soy - all things I had cut out. Since these are common food sensitivities there should really be a bigger warning on the product page.

Caution if you have stomach ulcer

I purchased this product because it didn't have the betaine Hcl in it like a lot of these type products do, but this is one of the worst enzyme only products I've tried. It is quite acidic and really hurts my stomach ulcer. I'm guessing it's the acid protease, but can't be sure.

I have suffered from stomach problems for some time and I am very grateful to Metagenics for developing a great stomach enzyme formulation for vegetarians. It is a God send and I am very grateful for the help with gas and a gurgling bubbling stomach.
